Dr. Kenney has
been in practice in In addition to his regular
practice, Dr. Kenney has been active in the field of Forensic Dentistry
for 30 years and is one of approximately 100 board certified forensic
dentists in the US and Canada and was elected President of the American
Board of Forensic Odontology for two non-consecutive terms.
He is a Fellow of the This dentist is very kid friendly. He genuinely
enjoys working with children. Dr. Kenney is gentle. I really like that
he only has two chairs in the office and most of the time, he is the
only one practicing. Sometimes he has associates working with him. My
child would never allow me to switch her to another dentist. That is a
great sign of a excellent pediatric dentist! Dr. Kenney is a children's dentist that kids love. He and his staff make visiting a pleasant and even a fun event. The office is not or scary. He himself is such a charming person that the kids love to see him. Most importantly, he does a great job both correctively and preventative. We loved to visit and see the children come out with a big smile and that wonderful "no cavities" sticker on their shirts. My daughter had a nasty cavity that i was told needed a silver crown, which broke my heart. I made an appointment with Dr. Kenney because he was my dentist when i was a kid, and i trust him. He examined my daughter and ended up giving her some sort of protective enamel that was half the price and MUCH better looking than a silver tooth! He's not our primary dentist because he doesn't take our insurance, but i consider myself lucky that i knew of him and was able to consult with him. He's knowledgeable, up-to-date, and good with kids. I am a former patient of
yours from many years ago! I just wanted to say thanks to you I have
received so many positive remarks from people about my teeth! My
current dentist initially asked me which orthodontist did my dental
work, because he was so impressed by the condition my teeth were in.
When I told him it was in fact my Pediatric dentist who did all of my
dental work, braces, AND retainers he was speechless! I want to tell
you from the bottom of my heart that I thank you so much for your hard
work and exceptional quality of practice! You are by far the best
dentist ever, and any kid under your care is going to have the
brightest smile! I know I do thanks to you, and you will always be
remembered every time I look in the mirror and smile. Dear Dr. Kenney, We are writing to thank you for years of your dental service. You have helped with many dental problems over the years, given advice when asked and squeezed the girls in when there has been problems. You made our dental health decisions easy for our girls. Although we as parents feel they should continue seeing you as long as you are in practice, the girls feel they have outgrown your pediatric practice since they range in age from 17-23 years. The same situation has occurred with their pediatrician. The girls have grown up! We could not leave your practice without thanking you and have very much appreciated your professionalism over the years. Thank you again. God bless you and we wish you well! Sincerely, Dear Dr. Kenney & all of his wonderful office staff, Wishing you and your families a Happy Holiday Season! Thank you for taking such good care of Zach's teeth! Wishing you a New Year filled with love, peace, good health, joy, success, fun, laughter but most of all Rich in God's blessings! Love, Susan C. Susan is our

to our office. She has been with Dr. Kenney for more than 8years. She

years, and with the office for three. She is also certified by the State
of Our part time staff includes Alexa, a college freshman, and Yuli, a college junior who are here during vacation times to help with the phones and appointments. All of the staff is CPR certified and
the is an From the time Dr. Kenney opened his doors in August of 1980, the goal has been a patient centered practice. Each child and family is different, and the staff recognizes that individuality. We want to make your child’s dental experience as pleasant as possible. For that reason we recommend a first visit no later than the second birthday so we can get to know your child in a non-emergent situation so they will be comfortable with Dr. Kenney, the office staff and the surroundings. There are televisions with child friendly videos running in the treatment area, and a large fish tank in the reception area. There are also X-Box 360 and Nintendo PS2 systems to keep the kids of all ages occupied. Just outside our front door is the building train display that changes three times a year. Rather unusual for a medical facility, the shortest time any practice has been in the building is 25 years, and includes two solo dental practices, a group dental practice, an orthodontic practice, and a pediatrician’s office with five excellent physicians, who like Dr. Kenney are on staff at Lutheran General Hospital.
